Gentjana Begu's latest collection, "Vacuumed Memories", is a recollection of puzzle-like pieces inspired by a deep connection to her roots and forward-thinking visions of the future. Her Italo-Albanian upbringing, united with inspirations from the androgynous, inclusive period of 1970s-1980s pop culture, gives birth to a futuristic vision where man embraces the power of difference and is unafraid to experiment with it. The bright, monochromatic tones of this collection reflect the speed of our digital society, of accelerated capitalism, of artificially extended demi-gods.
